The Mother City
28.10.2010
Then it was time for Cape Town finally after about 23,000 kms! Definitely had mixed feelings about the end. Happy to have some freedom and be on our own, but at the same time, going to definitely miss our truck "family"!

Before we left our group we spent a day at the V&A Waterfront and even took a trip to the aquarium!

Our group had one last dinner together then said our goodbyes and were picked up the next day by my aunt and taken to Sea Point - our base for the next little while. Went out for a stroll and dinner that evening and had an amazing sleep in a comfortable bed (been a while!).
We spent the first few days walking from Sea Point to Camps Bay and relaxing at the beach and we climbed Signal Hill.

My aunt and uncle took us out to Simon's Town to see the penguins and to Kalk Bay for lunch. We even got to see a pod of whales! We also did Constantia area wineries and Franshoek again!

Had an amazing time in Cape Town so far but we decided at the very last minute to drive up the coast to Durban & Joburg to go visit G's family! So on to the next adventure!
Till next time!
